The sequence

From quote to delivery

01

Your price is issued

Route, vehicle, and dates produce a real number on screen with a manifest reference. Nothing is charged and nothing is held.

02

A carrier is assigned

We post your shipment and assign a licensed carrier running your lane. You get the driver's name and phone the moment it is dispatched.

03

Condition is recorded twice

The vehicle is photographed and signed for at pickup, and again at delivery. Both records stay attached to your manifest number.

The argument

What actually gets written down

Most auto transport disputes come down to one question that nobody can answer: what condition was the vehicle in when it left? Here is our answer to that, before you ever need it.

At pickup

Photographs from every angle, odometer reading, and the VIN plate. Existing damage is marked on the bill of lading and signed by the driver and by whoever hands over the keys.

At delivery

The same photographs, taken again. You inspect before you sign. If something does not match, it is documented on the spot rather than argued about a week later.

Published rates

What car shipping costs

Estimates for a standard sedan on a door-to-door route. SUVs and pickups run higher. Your exact price depends on the specific lane, the season, and how flexible your dates are.

Non-running vehicles add a winch fee. Remote pickup or delivery areas carry a surcharge. Both appear in your quote before you book.

Questions

Before you book

When is my card charged?

Not at booking. Nothing is charged until a carrier has been assigned to your shipment. If we cannot assign one, you owe nothing and you can cancel at any point before pickup.

Are you a broker or a carrier?

A licensed broker. We do not own the trucks. We contract with vetted motor carriers, verify their authority and insurance, and stay responsible for the shipment from quote to delivery.

How long does shipping take?

Roughly 1–3 days under 500 miles, 3–5 days for a typical cross-state move, and 6–8 days coast to coast. Your quote shows the estimate for your specific route.

Can I put things in the car?

Up to 100 lbs in the trunk is generally accepted, but personal items are not covered by cargo insurance and the carrier may refuse them. Ship anything valuable separately.

What if my car does not run?

We ship it. The carrier needs a winch, which adds to the price, and the vehicle must roll, steer, and brake. Select "Does not run" in the quote and the fee is priced in.

How do I lower the price?

Give a flexible pickup window instead of a fixed date. It typically saves 10–20% because carriers can fit you into an existing route rather than building one around you.

Is my vehicle insured in transit?

Every carrier we dispatch to carries cargo insurance. Coverage limits vary by carrier and are on the dispatch sheet attached to your order.

What happens if there is new damage?

You document it at delivery before signing, against the pickup photographs. We file the claim with the carrier's insurer on your behalf.
